Our littlest baby turned 6 months old yesterday, so I’m celebrating by writing her 5 month blog post! Haha! And then next month after her 6 month appointment, I’ll write her 6 month post….hopefully. Continue reading
If that little cutie doesn’t put a smile on your face, then I just don’t know if you stand a chance. I mean, look at her! Sweetness personified is the truth! Man, we are loving our baby Abi so so much. What a gift from God she is to us! Continue reading
I’ve had lots of people ask what my bullet journal spreads look like after I’ve written in them, so I decided to make a post with my completed April spreads so you can see them for yourself!
I’m a few days late getting these posted, but here are my May bullet journal spreads! I’m continuing with my adorable little penguin theme for my monthly page dividers. Later this month we’ll celebrate the twins’ second birthday!
Anyone else get sad every time one of your Bibles is worn out and needs replaced? All my notes and underlines, with dates jotted all throughout the margins. What everyone assumes are coffee stains, but are really the pigment from flowers I pressed from my grandfather’s funeral. 4 leaf clovers hidden here and there from days when I’ve read outside. I experimented with designs, fonts, layouts, and which spreads I found most useful to me… habit trackers, monthly spreads, weeklies, and so on. Not to mention the countless pages devoted to Cherish and Liam drawings… my favorite pages!!! Continue reading
I’ve been able to consistently stick to a grocery budget of $50/week for our family of two since shopping at Aldi (four technically – but the twins’ breast milk diet hasn’t changed our budget yet!). This isn’t just our food either! I’m talking toilet paper, paper towels, detergents, trash bags, etc. too! I wouldn’t be able to keep our grocery budget this low if my primary source of grocery shopping was done elsewhere. I’ve tried and failed. Continue reading
While Matt and I have not experienced infertility anywhere near the level of so many of our friends, we did experience a tiny taste of it. It took us a little over two years to get pregnant the first time. And while I was not thankful for it at the time, I really am thankful we went through that now. I think if I didn’t experience that pain of the waiting period, then I wouldn’t be as earnest to pray for the infertile as I am now. Continue reading
