We’re back! You might not have noticed our absence, but Cara & I both took about a month off from blogging. We wanted to fully enjoy the summer, and both of our families happened to be reevaluating how we use technology & what ways we can step back from spending so much time on our phones, on social media, and generally staring at screens.
Okay, so if we’re friends on Facebook or if you follow me on Instagram, you know by now that we’ve done some major work on our house lately. And by “we” I mean the contractor we hired. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Well, ain’t nobody with three kids under age 3 got time for that.
Matt and I are working our tailbones off getting our new furniture built (Matt), rooms decorated and organized (Cara) and “after” photos taken (Cara while Matt keeps kids entertained in another room). That’s not quite done just yet, but as I was working on it I realized I never even updated with after photos of what our house has looked like for the last three years. Oops. I shared “The Krampy Shanty Before Photos”, but nothing after that.
The twins are three months old now!
Our house just got hit with a 9 day stomach bug. Yes, I said NINE! I didn’t even know that was possible, but apparently they can last up to 10 days. Matt was the lone survivor, but me and all three kids were taken out pretty hard.
How to Become a Minimalist – This one is just for fun! JP Sears put out this hilarious video sharing all his secrets into “becoming minimalist”.
Half a year old!!!! Can you believe it? At first, this baby’s life seemed to be going in slow motion with all her hospital visits and blood draws during the PKU scare, but now it’s going by way too fast. Slow down time! My baby is halfway to 1!
Our littlest baby turned 6 months old yesterday, so I’m celebrating by writing her 5 month blog post! Haha! And then next month after her 6 month appointment, I’ll write her 6 month post….hopefully.
Kids & Technology
Our little buddies are now two months old. They’re growing so fast – I already have two rounds of clothes that they’ve outgrown!
Here are the stats:
