Reunited & It Feels So Good!

This past Sunday, Steve & I loaded into the car with some friends of ours and headed to up Louisville, KY. If you know Cara or have checked out the meet page, you know that’s where she lives, so we got to spend some quality time with the Kramps for a few days!

I’d like to think that was our real reason for going, and not because Steve was taking a seminary class and needed to be on campus for a few days last week. Steve has been taking classes for a year now both online and at the Southern Seminary extension center close to where we live. But next month, I’m excited to announce:

We’re moving to Louisville!

Steve & I are both very excited about moving and getting settled in a brand new place. I had a job interview and was offered a job while we were there this week, so things are really starting to fall into place!

But back to our time with the Kramps, and, more importantly, my time with Cara.

We got to hang out and go for a walk together.

Cara found a four-leaf clover, which is an odd talent that she has.

I, goof that I am, ran some circles around Cara at the end of the walk because I still had a minute to go to make it a 45 minute walk.

And we baked some gluten free sugar cookies that turned out to be delicious.

I don’t know why I’m half squinty-eyed in this picture…

We added some sprinkles, too!

Anyway, the moral of the story is we Kieklaks had a great time hanging out with the Kramps, who were gracious enough to let us crash with them for a few days.

And also that we’re MOVING! In less than 30 days! So, Steve & I are going to start packing stuff up for real (all that’s packed so far is the decorations that I packed a few weeks ago). So, look for another move update in a few weeks!
